Product activations

Product launches people notice.

Launches, demos, sampling, creator seeding and early-adopter programs for B2C and B2B brands. We get a new product into hands, and then into conversation.

Definition

What is a product activation?

A product activation is a campaign that gets a specific product into people's hands, where it can win them over. It uses launches, demos, sampling, trials and creator seeding to create first users, then turns those first users into the people who recommend it.

Everything a launch needs.

We plan the first ninety days of a product's life, from the reveal to the first wave of reviews.

Launch events and moments

A reveal designed for the room and for the phones in it.

B2C

Creator and influencer seeding

Product in the hands of creators who genuinely fit, with briefs that leave room for their voice.

B2C

Sampling and trials

Sampling aimed at likely buyers, in the places they already shop.

B2B

Live demos

Demos at events and online that show the product doing its job.

B2B

Early-adopter programs

Pilots and founding-customer offers that create your first case studies.

B2C

Retail and channel activation

In-store moments and partner kits that help the shelf do the selling.

B2C and B2B, under one roof.

Our consumer team builds for crowds and conversation. Our business team builds for pipeline and trust. Both answer to the same senior people.

How we work

From first look to first fan.

AI does the heavy lifting on research. People make the calls that matter.

01

Find the first fans

AI-assisted research into who needs the product most and where they already talk about the problem it solves.

02

Put it in their hands

People design the reveal, the seeding list and the trial, so the first experience is a good one.

03

Turn trial into talk

We gather reviews, content and early numbers and feed them back into sales, social and the next wave.

Spec work

How we would play it.

Spec work is our own concept work, made to show how we think. Client case studies are published with permission and real numbers.

Visitors deep in conversation at a busy business event

Ask an Engineer

The brief
A software company needs buyers at a crowded trade show to believe its product is as good as the demo.
The idea
A booth staffed only by the engineers who built the product. A public wall of visitor questions, each answered live and recorded as a short clip for the sales team.
What we would measure
Qualified conversations, demo bookings, clips produced for sales, and deals that cite the event.

What people ask first.

Straight answers to the questions we hear most. You are welcome to quote them or link to them.

What is the difference between a product activation and a brand activation?

A brand activation builds a feeling about the whole brand. A product activation gets one specific product tried and talked about. Many launches use both. The brand moment wins attention and the product activation turns it into trial.

When should we start planning a launch?

Eight to fourteen weeks before launch day is a good window. Seeding, press outreach and production all need lead time, and early creators need product in hand before the reveal.

Do you work with creators and influencers?

Yes. We build seeding lists around fit and audience, not follower counts alone, and we brief creators in a way that keeps their voice intact. Paid creator fees are passed through on your quote.

Can you launch B2B software or services?

Yes. For B2B we focus on live demos, pilot programs, launch content for sales teams and moments at the events your buyers already attend.

How do you report on a launch?

We report against the measures agreed up front, such as trials, sign-ups, reviews, content, coverage and early sales. Reports are in plain language with what we would change next.

Got something new to put in people's hands?

Tell us what it is, who it is for and when it lands. We will plan the first ninety days.
