Brand activations

Brand activations worth the trip.

Pop-ups, live experiences, sponsorships and community events for B2C and B2B brands. We put people in a room with your brand and give them a reason to talk about it.

Definition

What is a brand activation?

A brand activation is a live or interactive experience that lets people meet a brand in person instead of seeing an ad for it. Pop-ups, sampling tours, sponsorship moments and community events all count. The aim is a memory strong enough that people share it, plus a clear record of who showed up and what they did next.

Six ways to put people in the room.

Every activation starts with one question. What will people say about this tomorrow?

B2C

Pop-ups and experiential spaces

Short-run spaces designed for a queue, a photo and a story worth retelling.

B2CB2B

Sponsorship activations

Turn a logo on a banner into something fans actually walk over to.

B2C

Sampling and street teams

Get the product into hands in the places your audience already is.

B2C

Community events

Nights, clubs and gatherings that turn customers into regulars.

B2B

Conference and trade show moments

Booths and side events buyers remember after the badge comes off.

B2CB2B

Event-to-content capture

Photo, video and social built into the plan, so one night feeds a month of posts.

B2C and B2B, under one roof.

Our consumer team builds for crowds and conversation. Our business team builds for pipeline and trust. Both answer to the same senior people.

How we work

From idea to doors open.

AI does the heavy lifting on research. People make the calls that matter.

01

Find the pattern

AI-assisted research into where your audience already gathers, what they share and what competitors have tried.

02

Build the moment

People design the concept, the space and the reason to post, then run production, vendors and permits.

03

Capture and prove

We collect sign-ups, content and coverage on the day, then report what it moved in plain language.

Spec work

How we would play it.

Spec work is our own concept work, made to show how we think. Client case studies are published with permission and real numbers.

Open Late

The brief
A business bank wants small-business owners to see it as the bank that shows up when it counts.
The idea
In the last week of tax season, one branch stays open until midnight. Accountants on hand, good coffee, and a live board of small-business questions answered in public.
What we would measure
Visitors and appointments booked, local news coverage, social mentions and new business accounts opened that month.

What people ask first.

Straight answers to the questions we hear most. You are welcome to quote them or link to them.

How far ahead should we plan a brand activation?

Six to twelve weeks is typical. Smaller pop-ups can move faster, while venue bookings, permits and custom builds can need more time. On the strategy call we map your date against what the idea needs.

Do you run activations outside Calgary?

Yes. Gold Circle PR is based in Calgary and works with brands across North America. We plan remotely and travel for production and the event itself.

Do you handle permits, vendors and staffing?

Yes. We manage vendors, venues, permits and on-site staff as part of production. Those costs appear on your quote as pass-through lines so you can see exactly where the money goes.

How do you measure a brand activation?

We agree the measures before launch. Usually that means attendance, sign-ups or leads captured, content produced, earned media and social mentions. Where sales can be tracked by code, location or date, we include sales lift.

What does a brand activation cost?

It depends on scale, city and build. Every quote shows pass-through production costs, our agency fee and any strategy work as separate lines. Book a strategy call and we will scope it with you.

Planning a moment people should not miss?

Tell us the date, the city and the audience. We will come back with an idea and a plan.
